Lynette obtained her BCom (Law) and LLB degrees at the University of Pretoria. 

 

She served her articles of clerkship with Strydom Brits & Mohulatsi Inc., as well as Bornman & Mostert Inc. She was admitted as an attorney, notary and conveyancer of the High Court of South Africa in 2008. Lynette was then employed as professional assistant at Bornman & Mostert Inc. and later at Cronje De Waal Skhosana Inc. She was thereafter employed as conveyancer and head of the bonds department at De Villiers and Pheiffer Attorneys. 

 

Lynette now heads up the bonds department of Van der Walt & Hugo.
